Meet Tracy

A LIFE IN TRAVEL, A PASSION FOR DISCOVERING WHAT'S NEXT

Travel has always been more than a career for me. It's a passion, a source of inspiration and, above all, a way of helping people create experiences they'll remember for years to come.

Where it all started

My career in travel began with British Airways cabin crew before I moved into the BA Travel Shop, where I discovered that what I enjoyed most wasn't simply selling holidays, it was understanding people.

What do they really want from their time away? What will make this trip special to them? What would they never think to ask for themselves?

That approach has stayed with me throughout more than 35 years in travel.

From creating tailor-made journeys to helping clients celebrate milestones, explore somewhere completely new or finally take that trip they've been dreaming about, I've always believed that the best travel is personal.

Travel my way

Over the years, my own travels have evolved too.

Costa Rica, Sri Lanka and South Africa are among my favourites, while Iceland surprised me by becoming somewhere I absolutely loved. I've travelled through Switzerland and Croatia and, although sunshine and beautiful beaches will always appeal, I'm increasingly drawn to experiences that are eco-conscious, wellness-led and a little out of the ordinary.

I rarely want to visit somewhere twice when there is still so much of the world left to discover.

For me, it's the combination of a destination, the right experience and those thoughtful details along the way that can turn a good holiday into something truly memorable.

Why Wellness?

My interest in wellness has grown significantly over the past decade.

Through my own experiences, I've become increasingly interested in the relationship between rest, nutrition, movement, lifestyle and overall wellbeing, and in how travel can give us the time and space to step back, reset and look after ourselves.

That led me to create Wellness by The Travel Concept.

Wellness means something different to everyone. It might be a restorative retreat, time to disconnect from everyday pressures, a focus on movement and nutrition, or exploring the growing world of medical wellness, longevity and preventative health.

What interests me most is finding the right experience for each person not simply choosing somewhere because it looks beautiful.

The way I work

I take the time to get to know my clients and understand what matters to them.

Sometimes they arrive knowing exactly where they want to go. Sometimes they simply know that they want to escape, explore, reconnect or experience something completely different.

My role is to listen, bring my experience and knowledge to the table, and create a journey that feels genuinely right for them.

Because ultimately, it's not about finding a holiday, it's about finding your holiday.
